Waivers are appointment-centric, not client-centric
Mindbody ties waivers to specific bookings. When a client walks in without a reservation, there's no waiver prompt. When they book a different service, the old waiver doesn't apply.
No universal waiver link
You can't just give everyone the same link. New clients, returning clients, walk-ins — they all need different flows. That means complexity for staff and confusion for clients.
Client data goes stale
Emergency contacts from 3 years ago. Wrong phone numbers. Outdated addresses. Mindbody doesn't prompt clients to update their info unless you manually send them to their profile.
Waiver status isn't visible at a glance
Staff can't quickly see if someone has a valid waiver. They have to dig through documents, check dates, and figure out if it's current. That's time wasted at every check-in.
No external audit trail
If there's ever a dispute, you're relying entirely on what's in Mindbody. There's no independent record of when waivers were sent, opened, or signed.
Stripe payments don't sync
Want to use Stripe for easier checkout? Great — but those purchases won't appear in Mindbody unless someone manually enters them. That defeats the purpose.
